chris murray points us to BuyBlue, a list of political donations by major companies. as many republicans have no problem supporting companies that give to republican groups, so too should democrats. for example, when it comes down to amazon.com or powells.com, why not pick powells for your books since they give to the dems? amazon's $106,250 dontation to the republicans is enough to make me switch. (those of you who know my green affliations might be surprized by this, but while i dislike the dems as well, they scare me less than the ass presently in charge of things.)
