i've been on a brief hiatus from this blog, mostly due to travel and work. i just came back from a trip to mississippi to see my family. with the end of the semester upon me, i'll be busy grading until early december, and then i can get back to writing more seriously. (i write while traveling, but i usually only scetch my impressions of places and thoughts. the only serious writing i've done in the past few weeks was in preparation for a talk on anselm hollo that i presented last week.)
in other news, the collection Dwarf Stars, a collection of the best sci-fi poetry (who knew there was such a catagory!) of 2004 just came out, and one of my pieces is in it. keep an eye out for your own copy. also, make sure that the only calendar you purchase for 2006 contains poetry & "sensual" poets.
