ray is making more waves over at chicago poetry with his questions about how much an editor should disclose. i agree that editors should try to disclose some preferences beforehand if they have not published any prior works. after at least a few works come out, what does an editor really need to say? should most editors give a statement in each work stating an aesthetic?
