Musical Collaboration
Some collaborative news. The fabulous Allison Bazarko Kirk has taken my poem "Command Sheet" and turned it into a jazzy musical critique of propaganda.
The poem is from the book In the Weaver's Valley (Thanks always to Jukka-Pekka Kervinen editor/publisher of Blue Lion Books.) In that book, there is a heavy theme of politically-oriented poetry, of resistance to pre-fab language, of words cracked awkwardly from contexts.
