i spent a pleasant afternoon reading through mark young's calligraphies, an e-book which can be downloaded from xPress(ed). after finishing, i feel like i just finished a long dialogue with someone interesting. mark's work ranges over a variety of topics, and listening to his voice in my head is quite spell-binding. i'm left with the question: poet or mantis (in the old sense)?
