it amazes me how much the web influences poetry currently. for example, last night i went to a reading in chicago to hear andrew lundwall, steve halle, adam fieled, and simone muench. in the audience, i saw larry and lina, the poets who run Milk Magazine. i also saw joshua maria wilkinson, a poet i published years ago in Moria. poet/blogger/critic tim yu was also in the audience, as was kristy odelius and several local chicago poets whom i've seen on Facebook. i've known andrew for years online, but last night was the first time i met him.
