my book fragile replacements has received a fair amount of reviews, and yes, i read them when they present themselves to me. beyond the reviews and of even more interest to me, many people have e-mailed me to say that the book has helped them. that's unusual for me to hear. as someone who works with experimental poetry typically, i don't expect someone to be helped emotionally through my work, but since the first part of fragile replacements, "go-between," deals with me coming to terms with my divorce, i understand. interestingly enough, "go-between" is the only work i've written that feels untouchable, that feels complete.
