i heard ray bianchi and jen karmin read last night at myopic books. as usual, ray's work was pointed toward action, as many latin american poets' works are. his work compells you to do something about the current state of the world--primarily from a human justice point of view. jen presented a dual voice piece that was fun to listen to. she's good at making mutivocal parts flow.
