i meandered around michigan over the weekend for the thanksgiving holiday, mostly visiting with my wife's family. i took several books with me, but i did not get around to reading them. i took my journal as well but did not write a word. i'm still stuck in writing limbo.
upon returning i noticed that 9/11 ads are popping up on bologna in prosa, a site i've been even worse about updating than this one. thinking of the bologna blog, i've been wondering about all the hype in academia about how blogs cause problems for job seekers, and since i'm on the academic job hunt again, i've been wondering about what i've said on my blogs that could hurt my chances, though perhaps slim in the U.S. market, for another job.
