La parola da casa, Serena Piccoli

i've received five books in the mail in the past few days. some nice works by slope press for reviews in moria, but one book that specifically touches on something personal is Paul Canonici's The Delta Italians. many times I have been asked where my father's family immigrated to and received a surprised look when I mentioned the Mississippi Delta. it's nice to have a book that discusses that topic and includes stories that I heard from my father and grandparents growing up.
