i received clayton eshleman's conductors of the pit (soft skull press) in the mail today. the book is a collection of eshleman's translations. the selection of poets is exciting--neruda, vallejo, breto, rimbaud, artaud, hierro, and others. i'm looking forward to working through it slowly.
