Poetry Activities

1. Moving among an oak tree's limbs as someone follows below shooting at you with a BB gun, write a poem.
2. While striding slowly across hot coals, write a poem about how poets endure anything for poetry.
3. Take the results of the two above exercises and copy them over and over on a roll of toilet paper. Wind the roll back up and then throw it at any politician. Then write a poem about how poetry is changing the political landscape.
4. Start a collaborative poem with four other poets about terrorist bunnies. Once finished, send The Terrorist Bunny to finish off the other writers. Take the collaborative poem to the top of your favorite mountain and carve it on stone with a butter knife. Throw away the original when finished.
