Since writing poetry has been slow going lately, I've turned to more scholarly pursuits for now. Just today I wrote abstracts for four conference papers and one panel proposal. (I'm the most excited by the panel, but I'll save the details until it has been accepted.)
I also spent the day rereading poetry for a class I'm teaching. Today, I went through work by the following: Clark Coolidge, Michael Palmer, Lorenzo Thomas, Lyn Hejinian, Ray DiPalma, Anne Waldman, Miguel Algarin, Maureen Owens, and Alice Notley.
