Field Press has announced its first annual Field Press Translation Prize. In the U.S. especially, but in the English speaking world in general, we need more translations from innovative international poets, and it's great that Field Press is fostering such translations by offering a prize to a poet and translator. For the first year, Field Press is focusing on Italian writing, but in the future, many other languages will be focused on, such as Polish, Portugese, Spanish, and Chinese.
